Owner & General Manager
Qualifications: Adv. Dip. Community Sector Management, B.Soc.Sc. (Psychology)
Scott Richards is the visionary behind Imaginary Minds Disability Support Services. With more than 15 years of experience in the disability sector, Scott has dedicated his career to empowering individuals with neurological disabilities. His academic background in psychology and community sector management supports his mission to deliver person-centred, compassionate care.
Scott leads with core values of reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty, ensuring every participant and staff member feels respected and supported. His passion lies in promoting independence and community inclusion through services such as Supported Independent Living (SIL), Community Participation, and Personal Care.


Joseph Ryan
Co-Owner & Counsellor
Qualifications: B.Soc.Sc. (Psychology), Grad. Dip. Counselling
Joseph Ryan is a dedicated counsellor with strong foundations in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT). With a background in psychology and counselling, Joe brings empathy and professionalism to every client interaction.
Having also worked as a disability support worker for three years, Joe deeply understands the needs of the individuals we serve. His approach is client-centred, pragmatic, and rooted in authentic care—aimed at fostering emotional well-being, resilience, and personal growth.
